ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA (May 18, 2020) – In an unprecedented show of support for local food truck operators, organizers of the Erie Food Truck Festival announced today that it is taking on a new form this year with proceeds benefitting local food truck operators. The one-time Erie Front Porch Festival, in partnership with the Erie Reader, is a 5-hour long, local music event — featuring headliner The Groove — to air via Facebook LIVE on Saturday, June 6, 2020, beginning at 2 p.m. Musical lineup includes:
2 pm – 3 pm Zach Orr
3 pm – 4 pm Lindsey Vendetti & Eric Brewer
4 pm – 5 pm Tommy Link
5 pm – 6 pm Six Year Stretch
6 pm – 7 pm The Groove – Live from PACA
“While we can’t all gather together in one place, we can harness the spirit of the Erie Food Truck Festival on behalf of the local vendors who help make the Erie Food Truck Festival special,” said Kate Philips, Chair of the Erie Food Truck Festival. “We are hoping that folks across Erie County will take to their front porch, tune in to a dynamic local musical lineup, and reach into their pockets to support Erie’s favorite mobile eateries.
“These small business owners are among those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many at risk of parking their food trucks permanently. A daylong online fundraising event, in partnership with the Erie Reader, will help these small business owners endure the COVID-19 storm and preserve their livelihood as well as Erie County’s favorite mobile eateries.”
ALL TICKETS PURCHASED at www.eriefoodtruckfestival.com/tickets will include the following discount coupons to local breweries and wineries:
Black Monk Brewery $5 off growler refill
Erie Brewing Company $5 off a case of beer
Lavery Brewery Co. $10 growler refill

Six Mile Cellars 15 % off
Penn Shore Vineyards Special Front Porch Box Set
“Last year, a torrential downpour during an epic weather event couldn’t dampen the spirits of the Erie Food Truck Festival team of volunteers, along with drenched musicians, patrons and Erie County food truck operators,” said Philips. “The days of COVID-19 call for new ideas and new ways to support each other – we hope to capture that same excitement in a virtual event to help our local food truck operators; we are counting on you to help us make this happen.”
The virtual event is being organized by the Iroquois School District Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves to enhance the educational opportunities for all District students, with proceeds raised online going to benefit food truck operators.
